Who you are and how to reach you. We follow up by email; everything else lives in the Evidence Package we build together.

Dataset overview

What the dataset contains, why it was created, and the sector and format it belongs to. A clear overview short-circuits half the back-and-forth.

Generation method

How it was generated, whether real data was used as seed, and which parameters were locked at generation time. This is the part of the Verification Report buyers read first.

Legal status

Your rights to the underlying material and the licence posture you're prepared to offer. We'll narrow the language with you — you don't need to arrive with a finished licence.

A documented assessment is honest about its boundaries. Each Waiser Dataset Passport names both.

What we check

  • Origin and generation method — including whether real data was used as seed.
  • Legal status, rights, and licence conditions for the uses you're offering.
  • Quality, coverage, and balance against the scenarios the listing claims.
  • Ethical posture — sensitive scenarios, misuse potential, group-level risk.

What we don't

  • Guarantee legal perfection for every possible scenario — verification is a documented assessment for a defined intended use.
  • Re-license your IP — you keep what's yours; we add the verification and distribution layer.
  • Decide for downstream buyers — they remain responsible for their use under the dataset's licence.
