Scope
These terms apply to the waiser data website, the dataset catalog and the request flows that connect them. Each dataset you receive is governed by its own executed licence, which prevails over these terms for that dataset.
Access and accounts
You may submit access requests, custom dataset briefs and contact messages without an account. We may add an authenticated workspace in the future [to confirm]; if we do, the terms governing accounts will be published before activation.
Acceptable use
Use of the platform must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not interfere with the platform's operation, attempt to extract data beyond what listings expose, or use the platform to scrape, mirror or re-host content without permission.
Datasets and licences
Datasets are delivered under a defined licence that lists permitted and prohibited uses. Reading a listing or its dossier does not grant a licence — only an executed access request does. Buyers remain responsible for their use under the dataset's licence.
Intellectual property
The waiser data brand, the verification standard, the dossier structure and the platform interface are owned by the operator of waiser data. Underlying dataset IP remains with the provider; verification adds a documentation layer, not a transfer of ownership [to confirm — entity name].
Liability
